LPN Education Partnership

A Good Idea

Description

As a partnership between the Central Valley Medical Center (CVMC) and Snow College, this program enables students to fulfill educational requirements in order to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in rural Utah. Classes are provided by Snow College and hosted on the campus of CVMC. This alternative location allows local students to attend classes without needing to drive an hour to reach an actual college campus.

Goal / Mission

The goal of this program is to expand educational opportunities in the community while addressing the issue of a continuing nursing shortage at Central Valley Medical Center.

Results / Accomplishments

The LPN Education Partnership facilitates the nursing education of local students in Juab County, Utah.
